हिमाचल प्रदेश का मंडी जिला एक बार फिर से प्राकृतिक आपदा की सबसे बुरी मार झेल रहा है। बीती देर रात से हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश और पद्धर उपमंडल की चौहारघाटी में बादल फटने (Cloudburst) की घटना ने पूरे इलाके में अफरातफरी और तबाही का माहौल पैदा कर दिया है। बाढ़ और भूस्खलन के कारण कई घर क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए हैं और जन-जीवन पूरी तरह से अस्त-व्यस्त हो चुका है। इस भयावह स्थिति का जायजा लेने के लिए हिमाचल प्रदेश विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर (Jairam Thakur) खुद प्रभावित इलाकों में पहुंचे। उन्होंने सिल्हबुधाणी पंचायत का दौरा किया, जहां बादल फटने से सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान हुआ है। उन्होंने मौके पर मौजूद जिला प्रशासन और आपदा बचाव राहत दल से बात की और राहत कार्यों की जानकारी ली। इस वीडियो में आप जयराम ठाकुर को खुद हालातों के बारे में बताते हुए सुनेंगे, जिसमें उन्होंने इस आपदा की गंभीरता पर चिंता व्यक्त की है।
